Invitrogen™ CD68 Monoclonal Antibody (514H12)

Description
Heat-mediated antigen retrieval using Tris/EDTA (pH 8) is recommended for the staining of paraffin sections. The epitope recognized by clone 514H12 is sensitive to peroxide and so any peroxidase-blocking steps should be performed after incubation with this antibody. A suggested positive control for immunohistochemical applications is human tonsil. Mouse anti Human CD68 antibody, clone 514H12 recognizes the human CD68 cell surface antigen, a approximately 110 kDa glycoprotein primarily expressed by macrophages and monocytes.
