The Caprico CD8 PE Antibody is a mouse monoclonal antibody that specifically binds to human CD8. It is conjugated to R-phycoerythrin (PE) and is intended for flow cytometry applications. This antibody recognizes the 32-34 kDa alpha chain of CD8. CD8 is expressed on cytotoxic T cells and acts as a co-receptor in T cell activation. This antibody can be used to identify cytotoxic T lymphocytes and is recommended for staining peripheral blood mononuclear cells. The concentration is 0.2 mg/mL with 0.09% sodium azide as a preservative. The clone is UCHT-4.
