Description

Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Heat-mediated antigen retrieval is recommended prior to staining, using a 10mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0, for 10 minutes followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 min. Following antigen retrieval, incubate samples with primary antibody for 10 min at room temperature. A suggested positive control is pancreas or Ewing's sarcoma.

CD99 (E2, MIC2) is a transmembrane glycoprotein that is involved in regulation of T cell addhesive properties and programmed cell death distinct from typical apoptosis course. CD99 roles are specific to certain stages of T cell differentiation such as corticothymocytes. CD99R isoform expression is restricted in the haematopoietic system to T, NK and myeloid cells.
