Description

Mouse Monoclonal Antibody

The MA1-7412 antibody reacts with Clostridium difficile toxin B in infected tissue samples, with minimal cross-reactivity with toxin A. MA1-7412 has been successfully used in ELISA applications and can be paired with either MA1-7415 or MA1-7417 for sandwich ELISA. The MA1-7412 antibody was raised against Clostridum difficile Toxin B. Store at 4°C until ready to use.

Clostridium difficile is a species of bacteria of the genus Clostridium which are Gram-positive, anaerobic, spore-forming rods (bacillus). C.difficile is the most significant cause of pseudomembranous colitis, a severe infection of the colon.
