Description

Mouse Monoclonal Antibody

MA1-40158 detects C3/C3a from human samples. MA1-40158 has been successfully used in Western blot and ELISA applications. The MA1-40158 immunogen is the C-terminus of C3. Positive control: Human plasma; Negative control: C3-depleted serum.

Complement component C3 plays a central role in the activation of complement system. Its activation is required for both classical and alternative complement activation pathways. People with C3 deficiency are susceptible to bacterial infection.
