Description

Mouse Monoclonal Antibody

MA1-70056 detects Complement Factor I in human samples. MA1-70056 has been successfully used in flow cytometry, ELISA, RIA, immunoprecipitation and Western blot procedures. The MA1-70056 immunogen is human complement Factor I.

Factor I, a serine protease, is a regulatory component of both the alternative and the classical complement pathway. Factor I is synthesized as a single chain precursor of 88 kDa, processed to yield the active form, composed of two disulfide-linked chains, the a-chain (50 kDa) and the b-chain (38 kDa). Plasma concentration is 35 μg/mL.
