Description

Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Store vial at -20°C prior to opening. Aliquot contents and freeze at -20°C or below for extended storage. Avoid cycles of freezing and thawing. Centrifuge product if not completely clear after standing at room temperature. This product is stable for several weeks at 4°C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use. Cyclin D3 affinity-purified antibody is directed against Cyclin D3 protein. A BLAST analysis was used to suggest reactivity with this protein from mouse, human, and bovine sources based on 100% homology for the immunogen sequence. Cross reactivity with other sources has not been determined. No reactivity was observed against Cyclin D2.

The immunogen for the anti-h-Cyclin D3 was a recombinant full length Cyclin D3 protein recognizing a 34 kD protein. Cyclin D3 is a G1 cyclin closely related to Cyclins D1 and D2 phase progression. Like Cyclin D1 and Cyclin D2, it is activated by the same mechanisms and can phosphorylate pRB when associated with cdk4 and cdk6.
