R&D Systems™ Cyno Monkey SIRP gamma/CD172g (XP_005568591) VersaClone cDNA
Description
- Signal regulatory protein gamma (SIRP gamma, designated CD172g), also called SIRP beta 2, is a type I transmembrane protein belonging to the SIRP/SHPS (CD172) family within the Ig superfamily.
- SIRP gamma is expressed on T cells, CD56bright NK cells and activated NK cells, but not myeloid cells.
- Like SIRP alpha, it binds CD47, but unlike SIRP alpha, it does not contain an obvious signaling mechanism.
- T cell SIRP gamma may play a role as an accessory protein interacting with CD47-expressing antigen presenting cells, and appears to promote antigen-specific T cell proliferation and costimulate T cell activation.
- The SIRP gamma/CD172g insert is sequence verified and the entire plasmid DNA and insert translated sequences are provided.
- For reasearch use only. Not for use in humans.
