Description

This shuttle vector contains the complete ORF for the gene of interest, along with a Kozak consensus sequence for optimal translation initiation. It is inserted NotI to AscI. The gene insert is flanked with convenient multiple cloning sites which can be used to easily cut and transfer the gene cassette into your desired expression vector.

• Integrins are heterodimeric integral cell-surface proteins composed of an alpha and a beta chain known to participate in cell adhesion as well as cell-surface mediated signaling.
• ITGA2B undergoes posttranslational cleavage to yield disulfide-linked light and heavy chains that join with beta-3 to form a fibronectin receptor expressed in platelets that play a crucial role in coagulation.
• Mutations that interfere with this role may result in Glanzmann thrombasthenia.
