Description

This shuttle vector contains the complete ORF for the gene of interest, along with a Kozak consensus sequence for optimal translation initiation. It is inserted NotI to AscI. The gene insert is flanked with convenient multiple cloning sites which can be used to easily cut and transfer the gene cassette into your desired expression vector.

  • Integrins are integral cellsurface proteins composed of an alpha chain and a beta chain.
  • They are known to participate in cell adhesion as well as cellsurface mediated signaling.
  • ITGB2 belongs to the integrin beta chain family of proteins.
  • It combines with the alpha L chain to form the integrin LFA-1 and combines with the alpha M chain to form the integrin Mac1.
  • Defects in ITGB2 are the cause of leukocyte adhesion deficiency type I (LAD1).
  • The insert is sequence verified and the entire plasmid DNA and insert translated sequences are provided.
