Invitrogen™ Cytokeratin 7 Monoclonal Antibody (OV-TL12/30)

Description
The 54 kDa protein, cytokeratin 7, is found in most glandular and transitional epithelia. It has detected cytokeratin 7 in a large number of epithelial cell types, including many ductal and glandular epithelia by immunohistochemistry of paraffin-embedded tissue. Primarily, cytokeratin 7 antibody does not react with stratified squamous epithelia but is reactive with transitional epithelium of the urinary tract. Positive tissue: Pancreas/bladder cancer. This antibody is specific for cytokeratin 7, and does not exhibit cross-reactivity with other filament types, including vimentin, desmin, glial fibrillary acidic protein and neurofilament protein. Expected Staining Pattern: Cytoplasmic.
