MA5-14088 targets Cytokeratin 8/18 in immunohistochemistry (paraffin) applications and shows reactivity with Human samples. The MA5-14088 immunogen is cytokeratins purified from breast cancer MCF-7 cells.

Keratin 8 belongs to the type B (basic) subfamily of high molecular weight keratins and exists in combination with cytokeratin 18 (type A; acidic subfamily of low molecular weight keratins).
