These Disposable Inoculating Loops are smooth and flexible to facilitate smooth, uniform streaking without damaging gel surfaces. Sterile and non-sterile options available.

  • Ideal for anaerobic microbiology applications where deep agar inoculation is required
  • Use in situations where flaming is not practical, such as under hoods and in anaerobic chamber
  • High-impact polystyrene loops are smooth and flexible to facilitate smooth, uniform streaking without damaging the gel surface
  • Rigid enough to penetrate the media for subsurface inoculation
  • Disposable loops do not need flaming, thus help to eliminate the risk of infection due to aerosol formation of pathogenic substances
  • Can be used under hoods without danger
