The Reduced Glutathione (GSH) Colorimetric Assay Kit is a highly reliable and sensitive assay designed for the quantitative measurement of GSH in serum, plasma, cells, cell culture supernatant, and tissue samples. GSH is a critical antioxidant molecule that plays a crucial role in maintaining cellular health and protecting against oxidative stress. GSH plays an important role in the research of prevention, recovery, and treatment of atherosclerosis, coronary heart disease, cancer, Alzheimer's, and other diseases.

In this assay, reduced GSH reacts with dinitrobenzoic acid to form a yellow complex in solution. GSH content can be calculated indirectly by measuring the OD value at 450 nm.
