When used to supplement the Brilliance™ Listeria Agar (ISO) Supplements, the Selective Supplement enables the inhibition of competing microflora whilst the Differential Supplement aids the differentiation of Listeria monocytogenes from other Listeria species by facilitating the development of an opaque white halo around the colonies.

- Available in convenient sizes suitable for supplementing 5 L of Brilliance Listeria (ISO) Agar (E pack size) or compatible with our 500 mL bottled media options for preapring Pour plates (B pack size).
- Each box of supplement contains 10 vials providing a convenient way to make as much or as little Brilliance Listeria (ISO) Agar as you need.
- Brilliance Listeria (ISO) Agar is intended to be used as part of the Thermo Scientific™ Oxoid™ Listeria Precis™ Methods or as part of the ISO 11290-1:2017 and ISO 11290-2:2017 reference methods for the detection and enumeration of Listeria species and L. monocytogenes.
- The Listeria Precis Methods are validated for a broad range of samples according to ISO 16140-2 following NF VALIDATION rules when compared to the ISO 11290-1:2017 and ISO 11290-2:2017 Microbiology of the food chain – Horizontal methods for the detection and enumeration of Listeria monocytogenes and of Listeria spp.
