In contrast to lamps with wavelength filters and very narrow spectrum, this lamp has a broader spectrum for quick analyses or screening purposes

  • Used to detect fluorescence in laboratory applications such as chromatography, microbiology or other areas
  • UV lamp emits visible light, but also ultraviolet (UVC and UVB) wavelengths around 254 nm
  • Made for indoor use in clean and dry laboratory environment
  • Switch allows the following selections: Left = UV lamp, Middle = Off, Right = Flash lamp
  • Small flash lamp is built in, allowing orientation in dark rooms
  • Battery powered: 4 AA/Mignon/R6 (1.5V)
