Description

Full-length, recombinant, human, lipocortin-I fused at the N-terminus to His·Tag™ and S·Tag™ sequences and expressed in E. coli. This preparation is qualified for use as a substrate for protein tyrosine kinases in in vitro assays. Lipocortin-I is a Ca2+/phospholipid-binding protein that promotes membrane fusion and exocytosis. It is known to be phosphorylated at Tyr20 by EGFR, Abl, and Src, at Thr215 by PKA, and at Thr23 and Ser26 by PKC. It is also a substrate for a variety of other protein tyrosine kinases.
