  • Solution I is Weigert's Hematoxylin
  • Solution II is Weigert's Iron Chloride
  • To create working solution, mix equal parts of Solutions I and II
  • Recommended staining time is 2 - 5 minutes
  • Nuclei stains black, connective tissue stains red, and cytoplasm stains yellowish
