Description

Mouse Monoclonal Antibody

Reactive with Rhinoviruses (9), Coxsackie B viruses (6), ECHO viruses (6), Coxsackie A viruses (4), EV71, and Poliovirus. Non-reactive with Influenza A, Influenza B, RSV, Adenovirus, Para 1, Para 2, Para 3, Chlamydia pneumoniae, Mycoplasma pneumoniae and Hepatitis A virus. Purity is >90%.

Enterovirus is a genus of positive-sense single-stranded RNA viruses associated with several human and mammalian diseases. Enteroviruses are named by their transmission-route through the intestine. Serologic studies have distinguished 71 human enterovirus serotypes on the basis of antibody neutralization tests. Diseases caused by enteroviruses include paralytic poliomyelitis, non-polio enteroviral infection (Enterovirus D68) and aseptic meningitis.
