Escherichia coli (Migula) Castellani and Chalmers (strain 2002-3092) is a freeze-dried, toxigenic research strain confirmed by PCR to carry eae and stx1 (stx1+, stx2-, eae+). Isolated from stool, the culture is supplied with rehydration and culture instructions and is intended for laboratory research applications including enteric disease studies, food testing, and infectious disease research.
