Description

Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Reconstitute with 0.2 mL of distilled water to yield a concentration of 500 μg/mL. Positive Control - WB: human THP-1 whole cell, human Hela whole cell, rat lung tissue, mouse lung tissue, mouse NIH/3T3 whole cell. IHC: human pancreatic cancer tissue, human breast cancer tissue, mouse adipose tissue, rat kidney tissue.

Complement factor D is a serine protease of the alternative pathway of complement activation. The protein is a single chain polypeptide with a molecular mass of 25 kDa. Factor D cleaves factor B bound to C3b, generating the alternative pathway C3 convertase C3bBb and releasing the Ba fragment.
