Invitrogen™ Firefly luciferase Monoclonal Antibody (LUC-Y)
Mouse Monoclonal Antibody
Supplier: Invitrogen™ MA180225
Description
Membrane permeabilization is required for flow cytometry applications. In Western Blot , MA1-80225 detects a band at ~55-60 kDa using 1 μg of purified luciferase. For FACS analysis, use 10 μL of the suggested working dilution to label 1x10^6 cells in 100 μL. Mouse anti Luciferase antibody, clone LUC-Y detects the expression of the luciferase gene of the North American firefly Photinus pyralis in cells and tissues.
Luciferase produces green light with the wavelength of 562 nm. Luciferase catalyzes the reaction: D-firefly luciferin + O2 + ATP = firefly oxyluciferin + CO2 + AMP + diphosphate + light.
