Description

MA1-12556 detects Luciferase in C. elegans and Drosophilia melanogaster tissue, human fibroblasts, mouse macrophages, kidney, liver and cortex tissues, as well as NIH-3T3, Jurkat and BHR21 cell lines with little to no background signal.

Luciferase produces green light with the wavelength of 562 nm. Luciferase catalyzes the reaction: D-firefly luciferin + O2 + ATP = firefly oxyluciferin + CO2 + AMP + diphosphate + light.
