The medium is intended for the isolation of Listeria as detailed in ISO11290-1:2017 Horizontal method for the detection and enumeration of Listeria monocytogenes and of Listeria spp.

Listeria monocytogenes is the most common pathogenic Listeria spp. and has been shown to be pathogenic to both humans and animals. The medium is intended for the isolation of Listeria as detailed in ISO11290-1:2017 Horizontal method for the detection and enumeration of Listeria monocytogenes and of Listeria spp.
