A Simple Purification Protocol
- Purifying a protein tagged with Cytiva™ Protein Select™ tag is simple.
- One chromatography step does the affinity purification, a traceless tag cleavage, and the tag removal.
- The pure protein obtained is in its native state with no traces of the tag amino acids.
- The protocol does not require the use of a protease, and the same buffer can be used for equilibration, binding, wash, and elution.

- Cytiva™ Protein Select™ resin is available in 25 mL, 100 mL, 500 mL, 1 L, and 5 L packs of bulk resins and in HiTrap™ 1 mL and 5 mL columns, which are well suited for research, process development and scaling up to commercial scales.
- Packing methods for Tricorn™, HiScale™, or AxiChrom™ chromatography columns are available.
