R&D Systems™ Human Collagen I alpha 1 (NP_000079) VersaClone cDNA is the pro-alpha1 chain of type I collagen whose triple helix comprises two alpha1 chains and one alpha2 chain.

The Human Collagen I alpha 1 (NP_000079) VersaClone cDNA clone contains the complete ORF for Collagen I alpha 1, along with a Kozak consensus sequence for optimal translation initiation. The gene insert is flanked with convenient multiple cloning sites which can be used to easily cut and transfer the gene cassette into your desired expression vector. The Collagen I alpha 1 insert is sequence verified and the entire plasmid DNA and insert translated sequences are provided.
