R&D Systems™ Human ER beta/NR3A2 (NP_001428) VersaClone cDNA
Description
- Also known as: Erb; ESRB; ODG8; ESTRB; NR3A2; ER-BETA; ESR-BETA
- ESR2 is a member of the family of estrogen receptors and superfamily of nuclear receptor transcription factors.
- ESR2 contains an N-terminal DNA binding domain and C-terminal ligand binding domain and is localized to the nucleus, cytoplasm, and mitochondria.
- Upon binding to 17beta-estradiol or related ligands, ESR2 forms homo- or hetero-dimers that interact with specific DNA sequences to activate transcription.
- Some isoforms dominantly inhibit the activity of other estrogen receptor family members.
- The insert is sequence verified and the entire plasmid DNA and insert translated sequences are provided.
- For reasearch use only. Not for use in humans.
