This shuttle vector contains the complete ORF for the gene of interest, along with a Kozak consensus sequence for optimal translation initiation. It is inserted NotI to AscI. The gene insert is flanked with convenient multiple cloning sites which can be used to easily cut and transfer the gene cassette into your desired expression vector.

  • Also known as: ADHR; FGFN; HYPF; HFTC2; HPDR2; PHPTC
  • FGF23 is a member of the fibroblast growth factor family of proteins, which possess broad mitogenic and cell survival activities and are involved in a variety of biological processes.
  • It regulates phosphate homeostasis and transport in the kidney.
  • The full-length, functional protein may be deactivated via cleavage into N-terminal and Cterminal chains.
  • Mutation of this cleavage site causes autosomal dominant hypophosphatemic rickets (ADHR).
  • Mutations in FGF23 are also associated with hyperphosphatemic familial tumoral calcinosis (HFTC).
  • The insert is sequence verified and the entire plasmid DNA and insert translated sequences are provided.
  • For reasearch use only. Not for use in humans.
