Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (40%), Rat (40%). This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-66438. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.

Component of the little elongation complex (LEC), a complex required to regulate small nuclear RNA (snRNA) gene transcription by RNA polymerase II and III (PubMed:22195968, PubMed:23932780). Specifically acts as a scaffold protein that promotes the LEC complex formation and recruitment and RNA polymerase II occupancy at snRNA genes in subnuclear bodies (PubMed:23932780).
