R&D Systems™ Human MGAT2 (NP_002399) VersaClone cDNA
Description
- Also known as: GNT2; CDG2A; CDGS2; GNT-II; GLCNACTII
- MGAT2 is a Golgi enzyme catalyzing an essential step in the conversion of oligomannose to complex Nglycans.
- MGAT2 has the typical glycosyltransferase domains: a short N-terminal cytoplasmic domain, a hydrophobic non-cleavable signalanchor domain, and a C-terminal catalytic domain.
- Mutations in MGAT2 may lead to carbohydratedeficient glycoprotein syndrome, type II.
- The MGAT2 insert is sequence verified and the entire plasmid DNA and insert translated sequences are provided
- For reasearch use only. Not for use in humans.
