Description

This shuttle vector contains the complete ORF for the gene of interest, along with a Kozak consensus sequence for optimal translation initiation. It is inserted NotI to AscI. The gene insert is flanked with convenient multiple cloning sites which can be used to easily cut and transfer the gene cassette into your desired expression vector.

  • SMPDL3A belongs to the acid sphingomyelinase family. It is detected in blood serum and macrophages.
  • SMPDL3A is a glycosylated protein that is upregulated in macrophages in response to cholesterol accumulation.
  • It has phosphodiesterase activity with nucleoside triphosphates as preferred substrates.
  • The SMPDL3A insert is sequence verified and the entire plasmid DNA and insert translated sequences are provided.
