Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (58%), Rat (58%). This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-140055 (PA5-140055. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.

TAF1D is a member of the SL1 complex, which includes TBP (MIM 600075) and TAF1A (MIM 604903), TAF1B (MIM 604904), and TAF1C (MIM 604905), and plays a role in RNA polymerase I transcription.
