Spectrum™ Chemical Hydrazine Sulfate, Crystal, Reagent, ACS has been promoted to treat colon and rectal (colorectal) cancer, lung cancer, brain cancer (neuroblastoma), Hodgkin′s disease (lymph cancer), and other cancers. It is also used for the general weight loss and wasting (cachexia) associated with cancer. However, hydrazine sulfate is not approved for use with cancer patients in the United States. As an ACS grade quality reagent, its chemical specifications are the de facto standards for chemicals used in many high-purity applications and typically designate the highest quality chemical available for laboratory use.
