Used in a variety of fields including oil refining and production of fluorides it can also be used to dissolve rock samples before analysis. As an ACS grade Reagent, Spectrum Chemical manufactured hydrofluoric acid is used as the quality standard against which other substances are graded and has met the toughest regulatory standards for quality and pureness.
