IDH1 Mutant U-87 Isogenic-Luc2 is a human glioma-derived isogenic cell line engineered to carry the IDH1 R132H mutation and constitutively express firefly luciferase (luc2). It is derived from the U-87 parental line by CRISPR gene editing and single-cell cloning, and is suitable for in vitro and in vivo bioluminescence assays to monitor tumor cell behavior and viability. Routine culture is performed in EMEM supplemented with 10% FBS and 8 μg/mL blasticidin; remove blasticidin prior to animal injection or co-culture.
