IGEPAL∣r CA-630, CAS # 9002-93-1, is a nonionic and non-denaturing detergent used mainly for the solubilization, isolation, and purification of membrane protein complexes.

Detergent, equivalent to Nonidet P-40. For solubilizing membrane proteins, IGEPAL™ CA-630 is used as a detergent in paper industry, hand cleaners, metal cleaners. It is suitable for solubilization, isolation and purification of membrane protein complexes and in two-dimensional gel electrophoresis.
