Goat Polyclonal Antibody

AA Sequence of recombinant protein: MLKTLNLGSC VIATNLQEIR NGFSEIRGSV QAKDGNIDIR ILRRTESLQD TKPANRCCLL RHLLRLYLDR VFKNYQTPDH YTLRKISSLA NSFLTIKKDL RLCHAHMTCH CGEEAMKKYS QILSHFEKLE PQAAVVKALG ELDILLQWME ETE. Preparation: Produced from sera of goats immunized with highly pure Recombinant Human IL-20. Anti-Human IL-20-specific antibody was purified by affinity chromatography and then biotinylated. Sandwich ELISA: To detect hIL-20 by sandwich ELISA (using 100 μL/well antibody solution) a concentration of 0.25-1.0 μg/mL of this antibody is required. This biotinylated polyclonal antibody, in conjunction with PeproTech Polyclonal Anti-Human IL-20 (500-P190G) as a capture antibody, allows the detection of at least 0.2-0.4 ng/well of Recombinant hIL-20. Western Blot: To detect Human IL-20 by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1-0.2 μg/mL. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for Recombinant Human IL-20 is 1.5-3.0 ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions. 500-P190GBT-1MG will be provided as 2 x 500 μg

Cytokines that signal through Class II receptors form a distinct family that includes the interferons and interleukin 10 (IL-10). Recent identification of several IL-10 homologs has defined a cytokine subfamily that includes AK155, IL-19, IL-20, IL-22, and IL-24. IL-20 belongs to the IL-10 family and plays a role in skin inflammation and the development of hematopoietic cells. Little is known about its other biological functions and clinical implications. These cytokines display pro-inflammatory activities in different tissues, including skin.
