Invitrogen™ IL-5 Monoclonal Antibody (TRFK4), eBioscience™

Description
The TRFK4 antibody reacts with mouse interleukin-5 (IL-5), also known as BCDF-alpha and eosinophil differentiation factor (EDF). This 15-20 kDa cytokine is secreted by Th2 cells and exists a homodimer. Applications Reported: TRFK4 has been reported for use in detection of mouse IL-5 by ELISA. Applications Tested: The Biotin conjugated TRFK4 has been tested by sandwich ELISA for detection of mouse IL-5 in combination with TRFK5 and can be used at 1 μg/mL. It is recommended that the antibody be carefully titrated for optimal performance in the assay of interest. Purity: Greater than 90%, as determined by SDS-PAGE. Aggregation: Less than 10%, as determined by HPLC. Filtration: 0.2 μm post-manufacturing filtered.
