Mouse Monoclonal Antibody

MA5-14742 targets Alkaline Phosphatase in ELISA, IHC, IP, and RIA applications and shows reactivity with Bovine samples. The MA5-14742 immunogen is purified Bovine Calf Intestine ALP. MA5-14742 detects Alkaline Phosphatase which has a predicted molecular weight of approximately 57 kDa. Product MA514742 is a smaller package size of MIA1703 (formerly sold as a Seradyn product).

There are at least four distinct but related alkaline phosphatases: intestinal, placental, placental-like, and liver/bone/kidney (tissue non-specific). The intestinal alkaline phosphatase gene encodes a digestive brush-border enzyme. This enzyme is upregulated during small intestinal epithelial cell differentiation.
