Description

Evacuated tube with lysing and anticoagulating agents specifically designed for collecting and isolating microorganisms. Adult and pediatric tubes available.

Benefits:

  • Blood culture system for the collection and isolation of microorganisms from the blood. The ISOLATOR™ pediatric tube is used to concentrate and deliver microbial organisms to conventional growth media for purposes of isolation, identification and susceptibility testing.
  • When compared to conventional broth systems, lysis centrifugation can reduce the time to isolation by 24 hours
