- Real and forged painting in the styles of Claude Monet (impressionist), Vincent Van Gogh (post-impressionist) and Jackson Pollack (abstractionist) are presented to students
- Students then determine which painting is original and which is forgery by using physical, chemical and microscopic methods of analysis
- Methods of analysis include testing for lead, testing for fluorescence and paint chip analysis
