  • Autoclavable up to 120°C for 15 minutes
  • Tolerate most common acids and solvents at room temperature
Polystyrene tubes
  • Not autoclavable
  • Can be centrifuged up to 1400rcf
  • Tolerate aqueous solutions, mild bases and weak acids
