Description

The KIMBLE™ EPA Water Analysis Vial, Without Closure is designed for collection and storage of water samples. Available in clear and amber borosilicate glass, these screw thread vials comply with EPA 40 CFR 136 and 40 CFR 141 guidelines for the analysis of pollutants.

  • Clear EPA vials are manufactured from 33 expansion, low extractable borosilicate glass conforming to USP Type I and ASTM E438, Type I, Class A requirements
  • Amber EPA vials are converted from Type I, 51 expansion borosilicate glass tubing
  • Comply with EPA 40 CFR 136 guidelines for establishing test procedures for the analysis of pollutants and EPA 40 CFR 141 National Interim Primary Drinking Water Regulations
  • Vials are packaged lehr-clean in a plastic shrink wrap module and placed into a corrugated shelf-pack
  • Open-top closures with PTFE-faced silicone septa or solid-top PTFE-faced white rubber-lined closures are available separately
  • 24-400 GPI screw thread finish
