Invitrogen™ Ly-49C/I/F/H Monoclonal Antibody (14B11), Biotin, eBioscience™, Invitrogen™

Description
Description: The 14B11 monoclonal antibody reacts with a subset of mouse Ly-49 receptors and recognizes a majority of mouse NK cells. This antibody reacts with 3 putative inhibitory members of the Ly-49 family, F, I, and C and one putative activating receptor, Ly-49H. 14B11 does not react with Ly-49A, B, D, or G. It is reported that 14B11 enhances the redirected lysis of FcR+ target cells by IL-2-activated NK cells. Applications Reported: The 14B11 antibody has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis. Applications Tested: The 14B11 antibody has been tested by flow cytometric analysis of mouse splenocytes. This can be used at less than or equal to 0.25 μg per test. A test is defined as the amount (μg) of antibody that will stain a cell sample in a final volume of 100 μL. Cell number should be determined empirically but can range from 10^5 to 10^8 cells/test. It is recommended that the antibody be carefully titrated for optimal performance in the assay of interest. Filtration: 0.2 μm post-manufacturing filtered.
