Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
Supplier: Invitrogen™ PA528991
Description
Recommended positive controls: 293T, A431, HeLa, HepG2, Molt-4, Neuro2A, GL261, C8D30, NIH-3T3, BCL-1, Raw264.7, PC-12, Rat2. Predicted reactivity: Mouse (80%), Rat (82%), Bovine (86%). Store product as a concentrated solution. Centrifuge briefly prior to opening the vial.
MAX dimerization protein belongs to a subfamily of MAX-interacting proteins. This protein competes with MYC for binding to MAX to form a sequence-specific DNA-binding complex, acts as a transcriptional repressor (while MYC appears to function as an activator) and is a candidate tumor suppressor.
