Description
AA Sequence of recombinant protein: QFTNDAETEL MMSKLPLENP VVLNSFHFAA DCCTSYISQS IPCSLMKSYF ETSSECSKPG VIFLTKKGRQ VCAKPSGPGV QDCMKKLKPY SI. Preparation: Produced from sera of goats immunized with highly pure Recombinant Human MIP-5 (CCL15). Anti-Human MIP-5 (CCL15)-specific antibody was purified by affinity chromatography and then biotinylated. Sandwich ELISA: To detect Human MIP-5 (CCL15) by sandwich ELISA (using 100 μL/well antibody solution) a concentration of 0.25-1.0 μg/mL of this antibody is required. This biotinylated polyclonal antibody, in conjunction with PeproTech Polyclonal Anti-Human MIP-5 (CCL15) (500-P123G) as a capture antibody, allows the detection of at least 0.2-0.4 ng/well of Recombinant Human MIP-5 (CCL15). Western Blot: To detect hMIP-5 by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1-0.2 μg/mL. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for Recombinant hMIP-5 is 1.5-3.0 ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions. 500-P123GBT-1MG will be provided as 2 x 500 μg
This gene is located in a cluster of similar genes in the same region of chromosome 17. These genes encode CC cytokines, which are secreted proteins characterized by two adjacent cysteines. The product of this gene is chemotactic for T cells and monocytes, and acts through C-C chemokine receptor type 1 (CCR1). The proprotein is further processed into numerous smaller functional peptides. Naturally-occurring readthrough transcripts occur from this gene into the downstream gene, CCL14 (chemokine (C-C motif) ligand 14).Specifications
