Applications
MOPS is frequently used as a buffering agent in biology and biochemistry. It used widely for polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis. It is used as a morpholino propanesulfonic acid buffer.

Usage above 20 mM in mammalian cell culture work is not recommended. Store in cool place. Keep container tightly closed in a dry and well-ventilated place. Keep away from Strong oxidizing agents, Strong bases.
