R&D Systems™ Mouse Fas/TNFRSF6/CD95 (NP_032013) VersaClone cDNA
Description
- Fas Fas (TNF receptor superfamily member 6) [ Mus musculus (house mouse) ]
- Also known as: lpr; APO1; APT1; CD95; TNFR6; Tnfrsf6; AI196731
- FAS belongs to the death receptor subfamily of the TNF receptor superfamily.
- It has been shown to play a central role in the physiological regulation of programmed cell death and has been implicated in the pathogenesis of various malignancies and diseases of the immune system.
- The interaction of FAS with its ligand allows the formation of a deathinducing signaling complex that includes Fas-associated death domain protein (FADD), caspase 8, and caspase 10.
- The autoproteolytic processing of the caspases in the complex triggers a downstream caspase cascade and leads to apoptosis.
- The Fas/TNFRSF6/CD95 insert is sequence verified and the entire plasmid DNA and insert translated sequences are provided
- For reasearch use only. Not for use in humans.
