Fibroblast Growth Factor 9 (mouse) Recombinant Protein, RP-8637, from Invitrogen.

Fibroblast Growth Factor-9 (FGF-9) is a steroid-regulated mitogen and survival factor for nerve and mesenchymal cells. FGF-9 is an autocrine/paracrine growth factor considered to be important for the growth and survival of motorneurons and prostate tissue. Recombinant mouse G-CSF is a non-glycosylated protein, containing 179 amino acids, with a molecular weight of 19 kDa. Purity is typically greater than 95% and endotoxin level less than 1 EU/ug. The expected biological activity (ED50) is determined by the dose-dependent proliferation of mouse M-NFS-60 cells and is typically less than 10-60 ng/mL. The specific activity of this protein is 1x10^5 units/mg. Reconstitute using sterile water at 0.1mg/mL and centrifuge prior to opening vial. Gently pipet solution down the sides of the vial. DO NOT VORTEX sample. Store reconstituted material at -20°C and add 0.1% BSA for additional stability.
