Mouse Monoclonal Isotype Control

PA5-33207 is suitable for use as a matched isotype negative control reagent to assess the level of non-specific binding of mouse IgG2a monoclonal antibodies in rat cells. This antibody has been tested and found to be negative on the following rat cells €' peripheral blood leucocytes, thymocytes, splenocytes and macrophages. PA5-33207 recognizes the human CD45 antigen and therefore human leucocytes may be used as a positive control for this product. This antibody is not suitable for use as a negative control on human tissues. Reconstitute with 1 mL of distilled water. After reconstitution, store product undiluted at 4°C in the dark. For FACS analysis, use 10 μL of the suggested working dilution to label 1x10^6 cells in 100 μL.

Mouse IgG2a is a subtype of immunoglobulin G antibody that is produced by B cells in response to an antigen. It is the second most abundant IgG subtype in the serum and plays a crucial role in the adaptive immune response. Mouse IgG2a is composed of two heavy chains and two light chains, and it is involved in opsonization, complement activation, and antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity. It is also involved in the regulation of immune responses, including the activation of T cells and the inhibition of B cell activation. Mouse IgG2a is widely used in research and diagnostic applications, including ELISA, Western blotting, and immunohistochemistry. It is also used in therapeutic applications, such as immunotherapy and vaccine development.
